ARC Australasia was officially launched in 2017. The real story started prior to this when Joel & Ellen Cave through a conversation with Michael Murphy got connected with ARC & Pastor Chris Hodges. Just before Joel & Ellen planted Glow they had the opportunity to travel to Birmingham, Alabama where they met Pastor Chris Hodges and the ARC team which deeply impacted the trajectory of their Church plant.

In 2013 Joel & Ellen planted Glow Church on the Gold Coast in Australia. Glow is the first ARC plant in Australia and is one of the fastest-growing churches. The success and growth of Glow using ARC strategy and principles proved that these were not only ARC ideas, but Biblically-based, Kingdom strategies for growing healthy life-giving churches.

The vision to see life-giving churches in every community across Australia and the need for relationships so ministry is not done alone drew other pastors and leaders into the conversation.

ARC then officially began in Australia over lunch between Michael Murphy, Joel Cave and Rohan Dredge.

The ARC Australia family then quickly grew and we changed our name to ARC Australasia as our neighbours in New Zealand and South-East Asia wanted to be part of the family!

Since then, the ARC Australasia family has been growing steadily. New church planters are equipped and released each year to launch churches across these countries. Existing churches are joining the family to support church planting and work together towards health and influence in their communities.

Today the heart and passion remain. ARC Australasia celebrates with all of the church planters and partners that have joined since 2017, and collectively we remain motivated to reach these countries for Jesus through the power of the local church.
